Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) spoke from the House Floor on President Obama's unconstitutional executive amnesties.

"What we are dealing with here is a president who has ignored the people, ignored the Constitution, and even his own past statements," he said.

"In fact, on at least 22 occasions he has said he does not have the authority to do what he did."

Speaker Boehner then read them.

President Obama, he recalled, told an El Paso, Texas audience in May 2011 that some "wish I could just bypass Congress and change the law myself. But that’s not how a democracy works."
