59% of Voters Oppose Increasing the Number of Green Cards for New Immigrants

A poll conducted by Pulse Opinion Research shows that 59% of likely voters oppose increasing green cards while only 28% support an increase.

Other Key Findings:

  • 44% want to reduce the number of permanent work permits.
  • 64% want to reduce immigration to slow down population growth.
  • 75% believe there are plenty of unemployed less-educated Americans to fill jobs instead of hiring foreign workers.
  • 53% believe only some of the 11 million illegal aliens already living in the U.S. should receive work permits.
