Public Description:  

H.R. 3700, the Reducing Immigration to a Genuinely Healthy Total (RIGHT) Act, would: 1) reduce the annual quota for family sponsored immigrants to zero, 2) end the process of birthright citizenship, 3) eliminate the visa lottery program, 4) sunset many current amnesty provisions such as agricultural worker amnesty, Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) legalizations, amnesties under the Nicaraguan Adjustment and Central American Relief Act of 1997 and the Haitian Refugee and Immigration Fairness Act of 1998, and Cuban-Haitian adjustments, and 5) reduce the annual limit for refugees and asylees to 50,000.
