Arizona Woman Sentenced for Hiring Illegal Aliens
The office manager of a Sierra Vista drywall firm was sentenced to jail for her role in the hiring of undocumented workers in Arizona's first Immigration and Customs Enforcement workplace raid back in 2007.
Accoring to a U.S. Attorney's office release, Carol Hill of Sun Drywall and Stucco was senteneced to two months in prison and one more year of house arrest after knowingly hiring illegal aliens.
The ICE raid took place in 2007, and one other manager has already received his sentence after pleading guilty to charges. The comapany's president is still awaiting trial.
