Five House Members Cosponsor Chaffetz/Kratovil No-Amnesty Resolution
Five Members of the House of Representatives have cosponsored the Bipartisan Reform of Immigration through Defining Good Enforcement Resolution (H.Res.1026) drafted by Reps. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and Frank Kratovil (D-Md.) bringing the total number of sponsors to 55.
The new cosponsors include: Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-Texas), Rep. Ted Poe (R-Texas), Rep. Donald Manzullo (R.-Ill.), Rep. Dan Burton (R-Ind.), and Rep. Buck McKeon (R-Calif.).
The Bipartisan Reform of Immigration through Defining Good Enforcement Resolution, if passed, would state the House's resolve to 1) mandate the nationwide use of E-Verify, 2) secure the borders, and 3) prevent any amnesty as part of an immigration reform bill.
