Former Presidential Candidate Pat Buchanan Agrees with Immigration Suspension
In a blog published on his website, former presidential candidate and MSNBC contributor Pat Buchanan commented on the fact that immigration was not even considered at last week's Job Summit hosted by the White House. Buchanan said an immigration suspension would have "the most immediate and dramatic impact."
Buchanan used numbers advanced by our recent ad stating that the federal government imports 1.5 million foreign workers while the unemployment rate stands at 10%. He says that these foreign workers likely took many of the 650,000 jobs claimed to be created by the economic stimulus and the Obama Administration.
Buchanan also referenced the 8 million illegal aliens working in the U.S. workforce and tied in a USA Today article stating that "when U.S. authorities raid a plant site where hundreds of illegals are working, and send them packing, hundreds of Americans show up and apply for the jobs."
