A federal official with the job of overseeing immigration enforcement in three New England States was charged last week for hiring three illegal aliens to clean her Massachusetts home. Lorraine Henderson is the Boston area port director for the Department of Homeland Security and was caught counseling her housekeeper on how to evade deportation, but the housekeeper was wearing a recording device.
Henderson oversees all points of entry into Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She supervises more than 200 Customs and Border Protection employees and holds the responsibility of preventing illegal aliens from entering the country.
If convicted, Henderson could face up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
