Rep. David McKinley Becomes First Freshman to Join 5-for-5 Club
Rep. David McKinley (R-W.V.) has become the first freshman from the 112th Congress to join NumbersUSA's 5-for-5 club after sponsoring at least one bill for each of our 5 Great Solutions. Over the past week, Rep. McKinley has co-sponsored the SAFE for America Act (H.R.704) that would end the Visa Lottery, the Nuclear Family Priority Act (H.R.692) that would end Chain Migration, the CLEAR Act (H.R.100) that would assist in the local enforcement of immigration laws, and the E-LAW Act (H.R.800) that would mandate E-Verify.
Earlier this year, Rep. McKinley was an original co-sponsor of the Birthright Citizenship Act of 2011 (H.R.140) that would end Birthright Citizenship.
Rep. McKinley represents West Virginia's 1st Congressional District. He won the seat vacated by former Rep. Alan Mollohan and was identified as a "True Reformer" during the mid-term elections.
