GRACE Act

NumbersUSA's Position:  

Oppose

The "GRACE Act" would expand the definition of "exceptional and extremely unusual hardship" to include separating aliens subject to deportation from family members who are U.S. citizens, Legal Permanent Residents, or any other individual lawfully admitted to the U.S., essentially preventing ICE from deporting any alien with family members currently in the country (even if that family member themself happens to be an illegal visa overstayer).

AMIGOS Act

To include Portugal in the list of foreign states whose nationals are eligible for admission into the United States as E–1 and E–2 nonimmigrants if United States nationals are treated similarly by the Government of Portugal and to otherwise modify the eligibility criteria for E visas.

Preserving Employment Visas Act

A bill to authorize U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to process employment-based immigrant visa applications after September 30, 2021, and to award such visas to eligible applicants from the pool of unused employment-based immigrant visas during fiscal years 2020 and 2021.
